Setting up new blog?

I am thinking of building another blog (I know, don't I have enough). But I really feel strongly about setting up two additional blogs. Those two would be niche blogs, as in I will only be speaking of something specific rather than the mixed bag I have in my other sites.

Before I set them up though, I must consider a couple of things. Do I self host them? If so, I need to check out good webhosting plans and also decide if I'd sign up for a new one, or just add on to the existing one I have for my other sites. I'm even thinking of setting it up in Blogger and just signing up for a domain name.

There are really a lot of things to consider before setting up a blog or a website and deciding on webhosting is definitely one of the most important steps, next to picking out domain names.

Going Ga-Ga over Themes!

I spent hours browsing Wordpress themes again, trying to find a template for my site that I can customize further. I tell ya, that can be so addicting! 

Seriously, there are just so many cool designs out there but it's not like I'm just looking for a design to plop over the last one I had. I'm looking for a design that I can do-over and own. Completely own.

Anyway, I'm almost tempted to use one of the beauties I've found, even temporarily, but I'm thinking that doing so would just make me lazy in making any customization, you know what I mean? Oh what the heck, maybe I'll just give them a try. Hehe. 

Site downtime - my fault this time

If you were trying to visit my verabear.net and found an error page or something, please do not blame Philhosting. This time, it isn't their fault but mine. I've decided to move my blog to a new server, but the new DNS propagated sooner than I could setup over there, hence the site not rendering.

Yep, totally my fault. I'm working on getting it restored REALLY soon. Fingers crossed.

Blog Make Over Biz

Hello! First off, if you are reading this, thank you for visiting! This blog has been stagnant for months but sitemeter still reports some traffic, so I thank anyone and everyone who still swing by to check for updates.

I came back to post here because I was surfing through blogs and found several blog make over sites. I remember the joy I had in fixing up this layout for blogger and I figured, why not offer my services to anyone who may be interested?

I may have to think of this more in the coming weeks, but I also just wanted to throw the idea out there, you know?

So if you want this type of layout, with a different set of background and graphics, leave me a message and I'll get back to you. I promise I'll figure out pricing that will be lower than the standard services you'll get elsewhere, or at least competitive.

I've also tinkered with Multiply template some time ago. If you're on Multiply and are looking for a change in scenery, do checkout my page and let me know if you want a makeover with a similar template.

For now, this layout and my current Multiply template are the only ones I can offer because I don't really have CSS training to have a free hand at building layouts from scratch. I'll work on expanding my portfolio later on. Hehe :)
